Professional directory data

Directory profiles contain business and credential information published by the cited public authority or, where clearly labelled, information supplied by an authenticated business. Each profile identifies its supporting source and check date. Corrections and claims are reviewed separately; claiming a profile does not create an endorsement. Search terms are used to return results and are not published on profile pages.

Data we process

Calculator math runs locally. With analytics consent, privacy-limited events contain the page, category, calculator ID, anonymous session ID, timestamp, and referrer class. They exclude raw ZIP codes, project values, names, emails, phones, and custom text.

Saved project requests

If you intentionally submit a project request, HomeCostTotals stores the contact and project information in its first-party Cloudflare database under the consent shown beside the submit button. When lead-email delivery is configured, Resend processes request details to notify the site operator. Email early access uses double opt-in.

Networx quote referrals

Optional links labeled Networx open Networx's website, where visitors may submit a new project request under Networx's own policies. The link carries our affiliate ID so a qualifying referral can be credited to this site. It contains no calculator inputs, ZIP codes, contact details, or site session identifier. We may receive a referral fee. Networx handles information submitted on its site and contractor matching; existing requests stored on this site are not forwarded through these links.

Sponsorship applications and reporting

If you apply to sponsor a category, we store the business, contact, category, destination and message details needed to review and operate the campaign. Stripe processes subscription payment details after approval. We retain aggregate sponsored-card impressions and outbound clicks to prepare campaign reports; these counts do not contain calculator inputs or homeowner contact details.

Cookies and analytics

Microsoft Clarity starts in restricted no-consent mode. Optional analytics storage and marketing storage stay disabled until you grant the matching category. Calculator, email, and lead fields are masked from session replay.

Your choices

You can reopen privacy choices from the footer and withdraw optional consent at any time. Residents covered by Quebec Law 25, GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by contacting [email protected].
