How calculator events, quote requests, email early access, cookies, and privacy rights are handled.
Data we process
Calculator math runs locally. With analytics consent, privacy-limited events contain the page, category, calculator ID, anonymous session ID, timestamp, and referrer class. They exclude raw ZIP codes, project values, names, emails, phones, and custom text.
Saved project requests
If you intentionally submit a project request, HomeCostTotals stores the contact and project information in its first-party Cloudflare database under the consent shown beside the submit button. Contractor matching is not active, and saved requests are not currently sent or sold to contractors. Email early access uses double opt-in.
Cookies and analytics
Microsoft Clarity starts in restricted no-consent mode. Optional analytics storage and marketing storage stay disabled until you grant the matching category. Calculator, email, and lead fields are masked from session replay.
Your choices
You can reopen privacy choices from the footer and withdraw optional consent at any time. Residents covered by Quebec Law 25, GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by contacting [email protected].
